A growing solid dosage pharmaceutical company is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join its production team. This position will oversee the blister packaging line and support tablet compression and encapsulation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain blister packaging equipment to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Perform tablet compression and capsule filling (encapsulation) in compliance with SOPs and GMP standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process-related issues.
- Complete batch records and logbooks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support equipment setup, cleaning, and changeovers.
- Collaborate with QA, maintenance, and production teams to achieve daily goals.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or AS degree required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in solid dosage pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with compression, encapsulation, and blister packaging machinery.
- Knowledge of cGMP and FDA manufacturing requirements.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime when needed.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $28–$32/hr (based on experience)
